track time

I just ran my car for the first time at the track last night or should I say evening, and it was a blast. Not the best time I wanted to run, but it was decent given the hot weather.

first run was a 13.63 @ 104.8
good launch but my shifts could've been better

second run 13.67 @ 104.5
bad launch but excellent shifting

the weather was about 87-90 degrees...
next time I'm going to be looking to run some 13.3s 13.4s

It's all in the launch.
I had a great time though, raced my friends WRX Impreza thats turbo'd with roughly about 350hp. I beat him both times by about 4 tenths of a second.

What did your live wire say your 0-60 was... with those times there defn ot 4 flat. But they are really good times. You have a great mph to. With those mph's you can def do 13.2's or better.

my car is turbo charged with 4.10's and I doubt it will do 0-60 in 4 seconds flat, it is close though... 5-95mph in 7 seconds

Nice numbers for first time out. You can take off .198 for being a novice. Is your car stick or auto? Any video?

thanks, I'm running a 5 speed. hurst short throw, o/r h pipe, frpp stingers, sct 93 tune, c & l cai

basic mods...i'm gonna be hitting the bottle (nitrous) for a 100 shot here in the next month : )

only on the track though calm down (and also some lt headers and new dyno tunes coming in the next month too)

If you think you’ll be spending a lot of time at the track get gears first. The long tubes can wait.
