steeda cai

I have the steeda cai system, mine seems to have a little play, it can move slightly and sometimes I can hear it jostle when going over bumps or rougher terrain. Can anyone tell me if they have had similar experiences? Should there be any play in the heat shield or should it be firmly mounted with no play. Any tips would be appreciated!

Check to make sure all the bolts and clamps are snug.

The unit was put in at Steeda in Pompano Beach Fl. The rubber grommets are there underneath the bottom of the heat shield but there does not seem to be anything beyond that to snug it down. I believe that's the rattle I hear at times. P.S. thanx for the input guys!

mine came out of the throttle body yesterday, all i did was retighten the clamps, and its good to go, they can work a little loose, just recheck all your clamps...
you shouldnt hear your intake going over bumps, it could be suspension movement, or something rattling under the hood.
They could have dropped a tool under your intake, there is a grand canyon under there!
