It is... since it was in like 2-3 days... I lost 1/8 of my tank in like 20 miles...

between 2500-3K

There is one small section I downshift to 4K but its only for like 3 seconds to make a tight corner but thats about it...

I know your talking about the effect of the tunes...but I am in the process of ordering mine! what is the 4-digit recalibration code? Like...a made up code that I think of? And isn't our gear ratio 3.55?

No, the code is a sticker with a 4 digit code thats on the PCM, its locate on the passenger side of the engine compartment. I think its near the front, but I'm on lack of sleep and can't think very clearly on the exact possition.

I have an auto with all of dougs 93 tunes. I cannot tell a big difference in the torque and performance tune. The Race tune is a little jumpy but isnt bad. I leave the torque tune installed.

I ahve been away for awhile....BTW love the new avitar

I agree with you assesement of the torque tune that it adds power in lower rpms...but I think you have the Race and Performance flip flopped...as the Race tune adds peak power above 3500 rpm while the performance is across the whole powerband... but maybe I am wrong.

I do know the throttle response on the RACE tune is WHOA if you are running a auto....us manual guys have a bit more control... and it is even more responsive if you got delete plates

I looked for the code and I think I found it...can it also include letters? the PCM is the silver "box" next to the fuse box right? Cause I think I found it...but the code has 3 letters and a number...Bama says "Digit Code"???

The 93 race tune is definitely noticeable over either of the torque or performance tunes I have from Bama.

He doesn't make an 87 race or torque, because the engine couldn't run right without the higher octane. the only tune you can get in 87 is the performance tune.
