I can speak on the first video as I was there when we ran that first 11. I also help prep that car and yes we did pull back seats pass seat and trunk carpet and spare. It was a good car and yes we have one HELL of a driver. Here are some blog post about that car when we were still racing it.

This post is about the day we made it into the 11's for the first time.

This post is how we got there.
How We Got Our 2005 Mustang GT Bolt-On Project Car Into the 11s! | CJ Pony Parts

We have followed the same idea of basic mods while not touching the motor to get the 2013 into the 10's and we have almost gotten there with our best run of the day at 11.050@123.86 mph!!

why don't you guys just say 12 second... 11.99 & 11.97 rounds to 12, not 11.

It's fine to say 11.99s or 11.97s but the second you start rounding, the time becomes 12.0 or 12s according to every rounding rule ever made.

Not in racing....the second you break into a number you run xx's. So they can say you run 11's with an 11.99. All the safety rules for different times start at the .99 mark (unless they are mph rules).

07 gt, CMS cams, hurst, CAI/tuned, LT's, o/r h, m80's, FRPP mani, UDP, lowered with steeda 1.25/1.5, exedy mach 400/race flywheel, 1-pc DS, BMR upper/lowers, 4.10's, CHE brace with TL's, and a few other things that dont add up to much.

I can run low 12's...all day...on Michelin street tires with A/C installed in the car...and all the fixtures and appointments...leather...with useless weight-adding billet pieces adorning my interior...

But I have a blower.

You need boost.

What they said above.

11.99 = "Elevens" and you should be quite proud if you are in that rare club. Few cars can "run 11's".

Even fewer can run 10's or faster.
