Good Tuner
I have an 06 GT with these parts sitting in my garage;
JBA long tube headers JBA off road H pipe MMR cold ar intake Ford racing delete plates 4:10 gears Steed Pulleys Aluminum driveshaft I've been reading about the JBA long tubes throwing codes because of the loctaion of the O2 sensors. Since they are back a little further they aren't heating up correctly. I called Brenspeed and asked a guy there about this and he said I would have to weld the bungs closed and install new ones closer to the tubes. I tried to ask another question and I was told to hold on and the guy hung up. I called back and left several messages but I got no reply, I guess they don't do JBA long tubes. For all you guys with JBA long tubes and a good tune where did you get it? Also, I have to drive it about 10 miles to get the gears installed, would it hurt to drive it with any or all of these parts installed until I applied the proper tune? Thanks, John |

you'll throw a few codes after the jba install and o/r h pipe, the cold air intake will also make your engine die when you push in the clutch if your car is manual. you will def. need a tune as soon as possible...
when I put the c and l racer cai on my car it ran like crap until I had it tuned, died everytime i pushed in the clutch at a stoplight. the pipes and headers don't have to worry too much about those for now. hope that helps |

I live in Pittsburgh. I did call Brenspeed but Seth told me I would have to change the location of the O2 sensors or they couldn't help me.

You will be fine driving with the exhaust but not withthe delete plate or intake. The car will run real rough. Just get a tune for Bama and install the delete plates while they are doing the gears.
