Bad idea. That type of paint is pretty flammable, ill let you determine the outcome. Just spend the 10 bucks on some cheap stuff at a local store and it'll last more than a year usually no problem and you can always repaint.

yeah, not a good idea. plus i don't think that paint can handle the heat generated from braking. i know duplicolor's caliper paint is made for high temps.

i would remove the entire caliper, take the brake pads out of it and paint it that way. just let it dry over night i would say, put it back on and bleed the brakes and you will be fine.

not rice at all. I would go with a blue, red or black on your car. I think that I am going to paint mine blue whenever I get my lazy ass up to do it.

you can go to auto zone or walmart and pick up the duplicolor caliper paint for about $15. Also there is another brand called G2 caliper paint which is $38 . The day i brought my car home I painted the calipers . I cleaned the hell out of mine and I still have to do some touch up. The paint will eventually come off. You dont have to remove the calipers . The kit comes with small flux brushes. The best way IMO would be to have the calipers powder coated. Here are some pics

it looks like a sticker, or a sticker was used when painted... then taken off after painting.

sweet, just ordered some white mustang ones. Also went to walmart and bought some red caliper paint. I think it will look pretty good when done. It all together will cost about $20 bucks, which is pretty cheap. I'll post pics when i finish.
