Do you still have cats though? If you do and have the rear 02 sensors hooked up there shouldn't be any worries. If you don't have cats you'll for sure have the MIL light go off. Those guys are right though you can take care of that with a tuner no problem. I have an SCT xcal2 and I just plugged it in and deleted the code myself. It never went off again.

I have JBA long tubes sitting in may garage right now. I called Brenspeed first to ask them about a tune and they told me the codes can't be tuned out and I would have to weld the 02 bungs closed and put new ones in closer to the header tubes. When I tried to ask another question I was told they don't deal with JBA headers and was told "Hold on, I gotta check something" and then I was hung up on. I called back and left several messages but they never called me back. Since then I was directed toward VMPTuning of Florida, the guys with JBA LTs swear by them and they will be geting my $400.

yes im running cats... its not the lower sensors that are sending codes... its the uppers... and brenspeed gave me the same shit about rewelding... just wondering if any1 actually has done this or has had some1 retune their car to state the slower response on the upper 02 sensors... Every1 around me tuner wise has said it just takes a little time and brenspeed is apparently to lazy to fix this...

any input is welcome

thanks

My tuner told me you send a code that registers on start up that cats are there. But really there not and once its been tricked it just reads they are there and really not.
