Diablosport & intake question

Hey...i now have a 93 octane tune on my stock gt...but i want to put the jlt intake on it...my diablosport has a preset tune for jlt...how will i got about installing this intake and tuning it the right way,and will it erase my 93 octane tune????answers please

umm, intakes aren't difficult to install so I'd do it yourself. As for the tune, where did you get your original tune, because I've heard of some people/companies will give you free tunes for a year if you buy their tuner etc... because they anticipate you to be putting on more mods throughout that time period. If all goes to hell you can see if doug at bamatunes.com does diablosport tunes and have him make you a custom one

well i actually got my diablo from the diablo website...and i put the 93 octane tune they have in there right onto my car...but now with the JLT INTAKE,i noticed they have a tune already in there for that specific intake system,pretty cool only i dont want that tune to erase my 93 octane tune or maybe it doesnt even have anything to do with that tune...help please

erase that canned POS...
diablos canned tunes are ok for all stock cars, but get someone like bama to retune for the jlt intake.
Might I suggest the race tune?

As far as i know, Doug can send the files over the internet to you.

yes the tunes are sent through e-mail and than downloaded to your tuner.

thats why your tuner has a usb port on it. :wink

it won't, its just updating what you will be running with your 93 tune. The only way you will erase that tune is by uploading different tunes on to the tuner. Nothing options you change that are already in there will erase anything.
