Mirrors Melting

Hey guys! Have any of you heard of or had your rear view mirrors melt? I have an '07 GT and the plastic arm of the mirror right outside of the window has melted on both the driver and passenger sides. Has anyone heard of or even seen this? I'll take it to the shop to get them replaced but it just seems really odd to me.

I live in Katy. I10 West to Fry Rd. south and I live off of S. Fry Rd.

I would take it back to the dealership and have them see it...They will prolly cover it...
