Its a v6 sport. I didnt even know it was one untill i was leaving, and the dealer was like... "oh yea its a roush"

Do you have pictures of the new Roush? There should be a sticker on the door jam of the passenget side that gives your Roush number. If there is you should go to www.roushperf.com and register your car. They send you a nice welcome package for buying the car.

Sorry I think I had them mixed up. The car is a Roush, as it states on the window sticker it shipped from Roush Industries Inc, and on the registration paper in the glove box. I do not believe it is a sport model, but whatever was done at Roush totaled around 3 grand. Its actually driving me crazy trying to figure out what this model is called, I cant even find pictures of other mustangs that have teh same work done on them. The person who wrote on the window sticker had horrable hand writing. It looks like it says "Coneau Pkg Roush Mustang" . The only things that I can see that were done at Roush are stripes, hood scoop, and spoiler, all of which are black matte finish. I havent been under the car yet, but it feels like it handles exceptionally well.

I'll have to put a picture up later today, Im getting tired of waiting for it to get to my email from my cell.

Any of you guys have an idea what was on this package? I have an E-mail in to Roush, but have not heard back yet. Any one else even seen one? I know that I had only seen one other one like it.

There are several dealers who install Roush parts in various ways in order to make their own special Roush package.

Look in the door jam of the passenger side door. If the car was done at Roush, there will be a label in the passenger side door. It will have a number that starts with the year, then a dash, then the number.

If you have that number you can call Roush directly at their customer service line, give them that number and they can tell you everything about your can.

I talked to roush today, they said ford contracted them to put together a package called the fastback package. He said it wasn't considered a true roush , but that it did go through the plant, and was customized by roush and not the dealer . After finding this out I was able to find a few people that had the same model. I forgot to ask roush what the production #'S were though.

One question. Why did you sell the 97 GT for an 07 V6?

It had alot of things wrong with it. I had only had it since january, and only driven it for about 3 months out of this whole year. Partly because I was doing the pi swap in my spare time, and then when i took it in to get some warrenty work on it the dealship took 3 months to finish 2 small things. The trany was toast, needed new shocks, struts, springs, breaks, and some diagnostics for the codes it was throwing. I didnt have time for it to be down, and Basicly I needed something more reliable. I drive close to 400 miles a week to college and back.

I miss the pull and sound of that 4.6, But right now I cant afford the extra 8-10K to get the gt.
