fog lights to driving lights

The in grill fog lights on my 2007 Mustang are useless in fog and I have lower fog lights in air dam. Was wondering if anyone has changed the lenses in the factory fog lights with the lenses from the factory driving lights. Probably illegal in some States to do this.

I don't get what yo're asking, but the grill lights are driving lights not fog lights.

I went with amber bulbs in my grille driving lights. They illuminate the road better than the white bulbs without the glare in foggy conditions.

fog lights are a joke on any car/model. They are for looks on the GT.
If you are having that much trouble drivng in the fog, don't drive in the fog.
You cant be serious in thinking that your GT inner lights are to help with fog. LOL

That would look pretty crappy to be running 4 headlights anyways.

To the person who sais they are driving lights. Look in the manual, they are fog lights. Guess you guys are not from Tenn. Winding roads and a lot of deer out at night. The more lights I have the better. The '67 Shelby and some other cars, the in grill lights were driving lights (had a '67 Shelby). Guess a simple question gets some off the wall answers.

When I said lense, I was talking about the reflector behind the bulb.

Ford calls them fog lights, but as we all know, the don't do shit in the fog, so they are driving lights. I love the way they look and they make a BIG difference at night.
