91 or 93 octane

Hey guys i have just installed my JLT intake and man is it sweet...the only problem im having is that prior to the intake...i had tuned my car with a Diablo 93 octane tune...but after putting in the specific tune for the JLT intake..it drops it to 91...now will this make any difference or should i not even worry..please let me know

Im confused If its tuned for 93 you need to run 93. If its tuned for 91 and you run 93 you should okay but I would only run 91. pretty much what ever the tune recomends is the octane you should run. Thats what they would have tuned it for.

basically wat im sayin is that im not goin to get a dyno tune just yet for my car...so i use my diablo to tune for now...so will there be any difference in performance now that i am at 91 and not 93 octane?also...i dont really find many pumps around my area where i can get 91...so can i still use 93?

So you have the canned 91 tune installed but there is 93 in the car? No you won't have any problems.

What I recommend you do is buy some 93 tunes from BamaChips. That car will feel totally different with the Bama tune, as opposed to the canned Predator tune.

You should have informed whoever you bought the tuner from that you wanted tunes for 93 not 91. You will be fine either way, but the 93 is definately the best.
