I don't know how much... that depends on your exhaust shop...
as long as your cats are left alone you won't need a tuner.

With an x pipe you will have to go duals, and yes it will sound MUCH different, and you don't need a tuner, all you need are MIL eliminators, they are like $60. The reason is it will throw a CEL w/o cats and a tuner is just to turn off the rear 02 sensors off.

It seems like it would be easier, once you've got the x pipe in place, to just continue each outlet all the way back to a set of slp's or muffler's. |

I want an O pipe...hehe
get an H pipe with a v6 to give it less rasp and more deepness... a deeper a v6 is, the better.

I have an x pipe, and wish it sounded like an H.
The catted H will be deeper, get some flowmaster super 44s, put them on the end of the xpipe, and run tips to the rear, that should sound great... anyone think so too?

butI agree with modern. Go with an h pipe, I think the x with the super 44s would be too ricey.

I would run a catted h pipe. With no cats it sonds too ricey. It wouldn't be any harder to make an h. But if you do go with no cats, I don't think it will be too loud.

good idea, its already a great flowing H...put the super 44s on the end, and run pipes ovefr the axle, and make it true duals.
I meant to say put em on the end of the H, not X in the above post. The 44s are the best sounding flows out yet, and with an H, and a mid-muffler system on a v6, it should eliminate most of your rice sound. Also, a cat doesnt necessarily kill a system, some sound BETTER with cats, as do V6's. I think v6's with straight pipes are annoying, or even without cats. a good catted H pipe with flows would be the bomb!
