control arms
what kind of suspension set up do I need to help me off the line (drag racing) at the track of course :award
what brand is the top of the line? isn't there something you can take off of the front suspension an anti roll bar...that will reduce weight and help 1/4 mile times? how will that effect daily driving? |

Yes, removing the front sway bar will help you on the dragstrip. As far as other suspension, check out BMR and Steeda.

i recommend BMR
and to help ya down the 1/4 strip, get yourself a pair of lower control arms and an upper control arm, will eliminate your wheel hop and help you hook up better..... |

BMR makes a drag racing pack that is very complete, i'm installing it on my car next week. Heres a link to it.
http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...r-package.html They also have a level 2 for really agressive cars.

I have BMR lowers with the relocation brackets. I haven't installed the upper yet but will do that when I get the new driveshaft next year. I also removed the front sway bar, not to remove weight but to promote better weight transfer to the rear wheels since it allows the front to move up a little more.. It leans a little more around tight turns now but it isn't bad. There is a radiator support that is available if you want to run without a sway bar. This is probably what you are thinking of for front end weight savings.

The sway bar delete you're referring to, I believe is from BMR. It's not cheap as it is a K member combo piece but will save you weight as well. Just don't use it for anything other than dragging according to them.
