my new stripes and a new toy

So I took my Expedition down to the dealer to pick up my Roush, figured I would leave the Exp there until I could get a ride, as I was leaving I stopped to say hi to my dealer and show him the new stripes, he asked me if I was gonna trade in my exp like I origionally intended, so a truck was the origional goal but I put my foot down and told him hat I had jsut purchased a 50+k car and wanted a great deal if I got a truck, he said ok and started walking towwards the used car lot...um no I want a new truck man...so we walkd over to the new trucks and there she was in the exact same red as the roush...what i didnt learn till later tonight was that she is supercharged and puts put 450hp and shes fully loaded..He tried to get me into a 07 f150 with pretty bare bones...now thats 32k right..well the 08 loaded and charged i think its called the fx2 is only 2k more? So we went inside (i was the only customer there) they were getting ready to go, so it was me and ther entire team? anyway myself and the management went back and forth in a very commical manner until i was smiling ear to ear. so they took 2k off the top, then a 2k rebate, then gave me 2k over the blue book value of my exp, and even better I told them I want ed the package on my roush on the truck, so upgrades on the facade etc, and two nice matching black stripes just like the roush at their expense...yay matching truck and car..for 6 k less than the 07, and i got a sweet apr for an 08...new rule buy 2 cars in one month gets you good bartering power...[/img]

The new stripes look great. I'd look into getting the ROUSh window decal in black or maybe taking it off ...the white really stands out with the black stripes.Congrats on the new truck also.

Agreed on the banner but they only offer 4 colors, I may do black, Id love red. maybe I can go to a vinyl place here and see if they can reproduce it, that could be sweet

from the online resources they say high12s low 13s, note...thats what they say...I bought it to move crap to the dump, and buy stuff at home depot, i may just do it really fast like...heheh

If you have a good graphics guy local have it custom made. They can do anything these days. I had "May Racing" done in flat black to keep my black theme, but the flat makes it subtle on the windshield with just enough contrast.

Hey Psycho, Emay's grill logo is custom made. He told in a thread how he did it but I dont remember everything. If you search you can probably find it, or just wait for him to chime in.

i wonder why the salesman didnt tell you.. if you were iffy about it, that supercharger sure would have been a deal breaker.. then again, maybe they took so much off the price because they didn't know it had a supercharger either

thanks guys... i am pulling the grill on the pony, i ordered a matching upper and lower last week black chrome billit with no logo, im gonna pull the middle fogs as they serve me no purpose, i cann always put it back on so...shes in the shop again the frickin sticker lady scratched the shit outta the roof and the side has a 2 inch deep gash...wtf is wrong with these people , if you see me i seriously dont look reasonable, why would you want me to come back mad? I mean its a 50+k car thats a month old and has been back to the shop 2 times already,note i still love the crap outta her...I got to drive the truck tonight, man its ike a ghost, so smooth and floaty, and alot bigger than my expedition was...cant wait to trick it out...

those fx-2s are doughnut masters. I was getting my hood re clear coated for the 4th time so they let me pick a truck to take out for lunch. First time i chose a 07 f450 dually and those new TT diesels are CRAZY!! but that F150 rides better, drives and accelerates smoother then the f450, plus its crazy ass light and you can whip it around with no effort.
