quick hp


i have an 07 gt with flowmaster exahaust. what would be the cheapest way of adding some hp because im also a poor college student

off road h or x pipe. they say that they add about 10hp and it makes your car sound better.

if you can spend $500, you can get about 30hp with a JLT cold air intake and an xcal 3 tuner from bamachips.com

100 shot of nitrous for $650, but i would reccomend at least an intake before that.

DO NOT get an off road x pipe it will sound extremely raspy and horrible imho...keep the deepness with an h pipe and i'm not sure how a prochamber will sound, but i bet it will sound good as well.

No say no to x pipes with flows, borlas, ect.

I have an x pipe paired with by Bassani ABs and I think it sounds great.

But definetly go with a pro chamber or h pipe with the Flows.

My off road X sounds awesome. I have the Bassani and I'm never taking it off. No rasp or popping. Sounds deep and very nice.

Off road x and cheap ass flow masters. Louder then any exhaust I've ever heard on a new s197, doesn't sound to good, but it def flows good and makes the power it should which is what he wants in the end. HE never asked about exhaust sound.

I have the x and flow super 40s...not too bad...but I gutted my cats, and it got pretty bad...with cats it was good though.

I would take some pics of my headers, but car is gettin some work done..
I have the mac lt race headers, ceramic coated, and get endless compliments with the hood open.
stanless works and kooks are some other great l/t manufacturers.

I'm pretty sure you won't be happy with that setup :wink
don't go o/r mid pipe with slp lm's. I have pypes o/r h pipe and their violater axlebacks and it's plenty loud.

you don't need to run cats. you get more power without them. You just need to make sure you have real mufflers if you run an o/r setup.
