New Pictures of the Roush Trak Pak

One of the guys on another site noticed a 2008 Roush Trak Pak car sitting in their storage facility.

Not a big fan of the no fog lights. I haven't made up my mind about the wing yet, but I do like the front brake air ducts in the front fascia.

The rust on the hood pin already worries me a bit.

How come some roush stangs come with the regular "GT" rear fascia and some come with the "roush" rear fascia? Also some have those vents in the rear also? What determines which ones come wiht what? Thanks.

The all black one is sex on wheels. I love it, not so much the wing, but at least it is functional. And I think the 427Rs have the GT rear fascia, the 05s have the rear vents. I think the rest some with the roush rear fascia, but really its a GT bumper with a trim molding taped on. IMO the Saleen body kit is alot higher quality. But they both look sick.

The Trak Pak should be priced in the high 40s or low 50s depending on the options you get.

The reason why some of the rear fascia panels are different is because the Stage 1, 2, & 3 get a full 7 piece body kit that includes the rectangular exhaust tips while teh 427R, Trak Pak, Drag Pak, and 428R get the standard GT rear fascia and just different exhaust tips.

Also, the vents I'm assuming you are talking about are the ones on the rear windows. There is an option for the rear window slats and another option for the rear side window louvers. Just cosmetic, no functionality.

the grille just looks HUUUUUUUGE with no foglightss. even if i bought a regular V6 s197, i would have to throw some GT foglights on it

I asked the dealer if they can use the rectangular tip on the 427R but they said they cant do it due to the exhaust system

This isn't true. The only difference between the 427R exhaust and that of the Stage 3 is the mufflers. The mufflers on the 427R are the equivilent of a Borla Stinger. I actually put the 427R mufflers on my Stage 3. It's louder than the standard Roush mufflers.

The main reason why the 427R doesn't have the rear fascia is simply price. They were going for more of a performance setup without the cosmetic enhancements. They saved money there to make up for the cost of the mufflers.
