Wheel shake

Was wondering if any of you knew anything about wheel shake? I have an 07 with Steeda Ultralite's. At some point I heard something about removing rotor clips to fix the issue. I thought it was my tires, replaced them, still had the issue. Went back to have them balanced again and they were fine. Thanks in advance for any help.

jack up one of your fronts and check to see if you have any rotor clips still on. If it isn't that, than you either have bad rims, or they aren't balanced right.

That's my question. I know I still have them. Is it ok to remove them?

yes, you need to remove them. Most aftermarket rims don't fit snug with the clips on. They are easy to take off. all you need is a flat head screwdriver to pry them of with.

You also might want to check and see if one of the wheels are bent, if removing the rotor clips doesn't fix the problem.
