Can I get your opinions?
I stumbled across this Hyper Metal rim in another buddy's thread over in the 99-04 thread. It occurred to me that this one particular rim he was asking about may look good on my car.
Here's the rim, It's a Hyper Metal Razor. ![]() Now here's my car. I wound up using this picture of it on the flatbed, because it was the only pic I had that matched the funky angle of the rim in the picture, and I couldn't find a straight on shot pic of the rim, so this is the best I could do with what I had. The first shot is with my factory 18" aluminum rims, the second is the Hyper Metals. Factory: ![]() Hyper Metal: ![]() Bad photoshop job aside, whatcha think of those rims? |

those rims look sharp. better than the bullets no doubt. are they what 18" or 20"? pretty unique too, never seen those on a S197, in fact never seen those before period. i like 'em.

Personally I'm a fan of the 18" look. The 20's just don't trip my trigger. The only 20's I saw that I liked were made by Chip Foose, and I won't be able to afford his stuff anytime soon. lol
Also the smaller rim performs better, as it's easier to turn and is lighter than a 20, unless you drop large dollars on a lightweight 20. |

They have a couple of really nice sets with really deep lips. I may get rid of my Steeda's and get a set of those.

I know right. It's so tough to choose just from looking at the rim. And it's amazing just how much it changes the entire look of your car, so you don't wanna drop all that money and find out what you liked in a picture doesn't look right on your car.
I've used those websites that have an animation where you can put the wheel on your car, but of course I never seem to find a wheel I like on those sites. lol |

Very sexy!! Do they make 'em in a bolt pattern that fits the S197?
SN95 and S197 are different... Or so I've been told...

I like the spokes Zip but they need more meat in the center to hide more of the hubs and brakes.
