i still can't beleive K&N's FIPK gives the new GT500 53HP!!! thats just fucking ridiculous hahaha for us it was only 15HP

but not to get off topic im doin the Royal Purple 5W-20 and K&N filter next change can't wait!!!

I use Amsoil XL 5W-20 since the 5000 mile mark and am very happy with it. It undoubtedly added power in the form of more aggressive acceleration. I coupled that with the high mileage Fram oil filter.

One more thing: I change my own... Definitely six quarts. Do you pre-fill the filter etc and re-check after a start and 3 min idle? That would help make sure you have enough oil in there once it has all "settled in".

i use royal purple and a ford racing filter.....you cant go wrong with that.
