cool add on
this is being spoken about on a couple of forums, i didnt see it here so i thought id share, most people seem to be installing it on the inside of the gas cover...i ordered mine today..

uh ok...well for me it would be great to not carry my keys to the beach or what have you. on my other vehicles i always use my keyless to get in...and often leave my pile of keys hidden inn the car so i dont have to carry them...i think its more of a why not kind of convenience,, likre just becaus eyou said "whats the point" tonight you are gonna lock your keys in your car and wish you had keyless entry...hahha total jinxs

Fair point but I'd be concerned about leaving keys in the car or having a means to unlock the car by criminals who can capture your remote signal. I wonder if your insurers would pay out if they found you'd let your keys in the car?
Then again, I baby mine and the keys never leave me so I suppose it could be useful.....maybe.....possibly......

I see ur point for getting it but coming from new york I would never leave keys in my car.. u never know who's watching u as u leave ur car... or wen ur at the beach... but otherwise from that its cool.. I wish there was an option on the mustangs with thoe smart keys like in audis benzs and bimmers where its just like a little block u carry n the car knowsw its near will unlock wen u press the button on the door handle n keyless start..(without puttin the key in ignition..I know aoutthe push button start we ca buy..)

My last car ( explorer ) had the entry pad on the door and it was very usefull. Like said before when I would go places, I would just toss the keys under the seat and lock the doors or also on winter mornings I would go out and start my car and lock the doors. Its does come in very handy...

I use the one on my Expedition all the time. Inside the fuel door is a great place too.
