Im assuming everyone knows the show top gear? its a british show with 3 guys who test cars! u can look it up on utube by just typing top gear and the car. They tested the gt500 on a dyno and said that stock only comes with about 435 wrhp.. is this true?

On behalf of the British, I can confirm that Mr Clarkson is a moron who likes to rip the pee out of American cars although I should say he loved the Roush. As you will find from most of the bilge that spills from his lips, he knows nothing about American cars. For example, he claimed the difference in handling between the Roush and GT500 was because the Roush had a limited slip diff . I believe he once claimed the Corvette C5 had a live axle and he misrepresented a V6 Mustang as being a V8 on one of his DVDs and then tried to show up the Mustang by pitting it against a track-biased supercharged two seater Lotus Exige - hmm, that's fair then.

We just take eveything he says as the gospel untruth. To be honest, he says most things for effect, not accuracy.

I owned one British car, it was an unadaulterated piece of crap, 1977 MGB. I baught it new and it was breaking electrical at 20,000 and the metal the thing was made out of either was breaking or rotting. Talking about crap, British manufature is the top of the line. Lucas electric is a joke!!!!

Too late, we sold all our manufacturers to you lot (Jaguar, Aston, Land Rover) or the Germans (Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Mini) or the Chinese (Rover, MG) . The onlyBritish cars these days are Morgans and Nobles although even Nobles are partly made in South Africa . Having said that, Aston-Martin are now almost British again but with a lot of foreign backing.

We do make most of the Formula 1 cars though.

Ironically, some of the largest production British cars are Nissans and Hondas, both of which are manufactured here. Peugeot used to but have just closed down.

Sure we have Ford and Vauxhall but you lot own those too (although our side makes a profit )

Most GT500's are seeing 440 to the wheels stock (DynoJet). Add CAI, Tune and pulley and they are at 550+ on pump gas.

FWIW, I hate that show!!
