28s or 26s-tires, not wheels

going with pro stars.
I have the mickey et streets in a 26x11.50x17
I have 4.10s, and cross the 1/4 in mid 4th gear, and am going to be going with nitrous, and maybe some more goodies.
so i was figuring, get 28x11.50x15s, and that might keep me from going into 5th (which is what im trying to avoid)
so which one should I choose?
28x11.50x15
26x11.50x15
either will be hoosier quick time pros.

28s or swap the 4.10s to 3.73s, because shifting to 5th would kill your ETs, either of those will prevent that.

our stock tire size is a 28"...I went with a 26" mickey, and it shortened my final drive well past 3.73...which is a perfect gear for 1/4 mile...I reach the top of 4th at about 130, which is just over what I should be trapping once I get it to hook up (125-ish)...there's another option for you...toss the 4.10's in favor of 3.73's. You'll get a better launch, and trap a little higher once you get your juice in. my .02.
