Where's all the morbid suggestions I got when I posted this question? The best of which was a ball of treble fishhooks near the ignitioin wires under the dash (anchored to the car so the thief will still be attached when you get up for work in the morning). Rat traps in the glove box, etc.
I'm simply getting a fuel pump cutoff switch mounted in the cabin to supplement my alarm system. Other recommendations were to attach the alarm signal wires to a single tweeter inside the cabin. The rationale being that nobody can drive a single block with 50 watts of 15000khz monotone screaming into their ears. If that doesn't work, I'll hire day laborers to sleep in the car. |
