My last mustang was broken into and ripped apart from under my own nose. I Need to know whats the best alarm for a CONVERTIBLE Mustang available to man. This is serious!

They have alarms that will sound if the wheels come off the ground, and also look into LoJack. There is nothing completly safe but there are a bunch of good deterents out there.

I sell wheel locks (boots) for a living and you guys are right, for the most part if a theif wants it bad enough its gone. I hear the horror stories everyday, and its all pretty sick. Fact is most thieves are oppertunists so a highly visual anti-theft device (such as a wheel boot) will deter 90% of would be thefts. Most of my clients are major Contractors and Trailer dealerships. In this case it sounds like the thieves didnt actually steal the car so if you could have heard them you probably couldve stopped them. I would suggest you get a loud ass car alarm for starters and a wheel lock or 2 wouldnt hurt either.

Oh and if you get an alarm system, wire the sound to a set of large semi-truck air horns
