Newbie with ????

Hello all U Stangers!!!!

I have a 2006 Vista Blue Roush Stage 2, 5 speed manual Short Throw running on 20" Foose Nitrous wheels wrapped with Nitto NT 555 255/35 ZR 20's in the front and 275's in the rear. I purchased the car new just over a year ago and it has all of 2000 miles on it!! Sits in the garage alot!!!

I've ordered a Cold Air Intake from Roush and here in about an hour or so will be on the phone with Brenspeed ordering a TB Spacer and XCal Tune.

I was going to also get a Throttle Body, upgrade my plugs/leads/coils and fuel injectors but from what I've read on various sites the stock ford parts are sufficient until ya Turbo/Super Charge or start internally modding the beast.

Questions are........

1) Whats the diff between the XCal 2 n 3? Should I get the 2 over the 3?

2) Would the above listed mods be a good investment for the HP Gained or
should I just stick with the cold air and tune?

Any input will be greatly appreciated...........Drive Carefully Fast......Stay ahead of all the idiots!!!!!

Les

I, along with a handfull of others are running supercharged and turboed cars w/ 450-490. I know most of us still have the stock TB and coils on our cars. Obviously the plugs and injectors will come out when you go FI, but everything else has been working great on my car...

"Based off of SCT's premier LiveWire Tuner, the X3 takes the Xcalibrator to a whole new level with features such as enhanced data logging with 8 times the onboard memory (128MB Total!), an upgraded 4-line backlit display, and the ability to hold not only custom tunes, but also dyno proven strategy tunes for your stock or mostly stock cars at the same time"

+1 on the throttle body, and the throttle body spacer is a total waste of money. i know its only like $100 but i got the poweraid spacer and it does nothing except make a whistling noise.

many people have problems with TB's, but the ones that do it and get it right seem to be very happy with them. i'm with everyone else though. you really don't need one with any average amount of HP
