New shifter help
Got my hurst in, looks great. But it's a bit stiff. Is there anything i should grease? Or is that just the nature of the short throws? I plan on changing my trans fluid to RP this weekend, will this smooth it out a bit?

No like the others said the shifter will be stiff at first and you will have to get used to it. I have a hurst in mine its not an sn197 of corse but its till a hurst. It was stiff at first but loosened up and I got used to the shorter shifts. I like it alot better

I also have the Hurst and love it. I just ordered a k member with torque limiters too though because even though the shifting is shorter, you'll still have problems sometimes hitting the 2-3 and sometimes even 2nd when you're going down the strip and the torque missaligns the regular pattern of shifting. Under normal loads, the shifting is smooth and easy. Gotta love the look of it too!
