Work done but I am not sure if the hp is right

Ok I have a 2007 GT with K&N CAI, headerback exhaust with no cats, predator tuner, and a custom tune. The dyno print out says max hp 291 and max torque 305. They were supposed to do three runs on the dyno. Does this seem to be the right numbers with the work I have done?

No, that doesnt seem right. What type of dyno were they using, a front wheel? .

I didn't think it sounded right but I hate going in the shop because they just look at me as a dumb girl.

is it normal too that they would only give me one print out instead of showing how the adjusted it for the custom tune?

On my printouts I got one sheet with multiple lines showing hp and tq before and after adjustments. They should at least give you the benefit of the doubt at the dyno shop since you are a female taking your car in to get dynotuned... I would guess of the mods youve listed you wuold be roughly 315 to the wheels. But thats just my guess...

as fast mentioned sometimes you get seperate sheets, and others save trees and simply make a single print out with all of the pulls on it as they progressed in tuning.

If your uncomfortable with that shop, find someone else after you get everything straightened out. There's plenty of places out there that won't look at females the way you describe.

Do you have the ability to scan in the sheet and show us what you've got?

It also makes a difference wether they were using a mustang dyno or a dynojet, as they will spit out two different numbers for the same car on the same day... Sounds like they are using a mustang dyno. I agree with Emay, you might want to look into another shop, or ( depending on how much it cost you ) go back and tell them how you feel and see what they do about it. Like all businesses they revolve around customer satisfaction.

I am at work right now but I am taking a half day so I should be able to when I get home. He came highly recommended by a friend but I have had nothing but problems since I got there. He quoted one price to Tim for me but then told me a higher one when I got there. And when I pointed it out he said the other price was just for Tim. I have never had a FI car other then the non-modded ones. Most of my experience is with carbs so that is why I am kind of clueless with this.

Your mustang is FI? Will you marry me... Depending on what you have I would guess around the 450 range. I have an 06 with headers, prochamber, magnflow side exhaust ( cervinis ), and Procharger ( 8 psi ). I have some more (shifter, gears, control arms,ect..) but those are the ones that make power. Im sitting right around the 470 mark, daily driver. So if you are FI I would say this is about what to expect, and that dyno number is way off!

do you have an auto?

that should be crossing at 5252
that would bring you into the 315rwhp range.

Thats not right, I would take it back to them. Plus DynoJets read high to begin with, so it should be giving you a reading of around 320-325.

Why is it so far off? She doesn't have much done to her car. A full exhaust and a knn is more than 30 rwhp?

If she had a jlt, it would look really low... but I don't think it looks too far off compared to other cars i've seen.
