Fucking badass.

But then I've always been a huge cowl hood guy. Like when I see the one on GT33's ride, which I've wanted since before mine was delivered, I get all warm and tingly in my pants area. *points down*

I love how cowlhoods look ( especially when you got the motor under it to back up the looks ), but for some reason I just dont think they look that apealing on our cars...

It looks good, but I wouldn't do it to a real GT500, it takes away from the purity of the breed so to speak. People will then wonder if your expensive car is a clone.( I know if you unleash your 703 horses they will believe you)I second that the KR hood looks better than original and will still maintain and improve the Gt500 look. Humble opinion since you asked for opinions.

I've seen this car. That hood is a GT Cowl hood and he's added the GT500 front clip. The Cervini GT500 hood is different. Notice the leading edge and the raised rolled line between the cowl and the side of the hood.

I don't really care for the KR hood. Everybody with a GT500 is buying it. It's heavy as hell too.

There's a couple reasons I like this hood, I'm not a fan of the Pillar Bar Gauge Pod's. I can mount my gauges under the cowl and still have a good view of them. Second, I think the cowl hood will allow better heat extraction when the car is moving. And last but not least, i think the cowl looks agressive on dark colored cars.

I'm still undecided but I like this one best out of the 2 GT500 specific hoods available. GTNorm may be right about people questioning if it's the real thing!! To that I say "Line 'em up".

Thanks for your opinions guys,

whats the other gt500 specific hood? u like best u said 1 outa 2...

i didnt know the kr was heavy.. i didnt know you can get a non imitation.. how much do they run and how heavier are they from stock hood?

just curious if i knew where to get the info i would search but idk..

i was gonna do a gt500 fascia for the bad ass look but no emblems.. im thinking of doing a custom emblem when iget my power adder... just gotta think of what i want.. the 70% more airflow with the gt500 fascia is also a plus..

This hood is out. I weigh's 46.5lbs and the stock hood is 33.5lbs. I'm not sure what the Cervini's weigh's. The first one is another prototype so I don't know when it will be released.

It isn't, it's a clone - with heavy azz 22" wheels. Guy gets flamed all over the net.

Mano, I like that hood a lot, wish I had a cobra nose, I'd be all over that hood.

+ 1 to that emay.. and nba i think i said that in my post that it was a gt with a gt500 fascia..

manowar i kinda like the racecarfactory but the heat extractors is alil weird

an is 10 pounds really gonna hurt u.. i mean if ur making a drag car then by all means but if its a street car for fun... eitherway do what you want... its ur car and make it look the way u want 10 pounds lets say in this case shouldnt stop your dream car..
