Roush making a Supercharger for the GT500

Looks like Roush is stepping into the Shelby GT500 line. I guess he didn't want to miss any opportunity to make a dime.

Apparently it's a kit that takes your GT500 to 605 hp and 554 lb. ft. of torque.

It's on Roush's site but says Ford Racing on it. Comes with a price tag of $5,600.00

hmmmmm, that looks odd that Roush would be advertising a blower with ford racing on it. I'm thinking thats the Ford Racing/whipple kit upgrade for the GT500. or unless ford racing has two kits out for the shelby.

I would still rather have a KB that can reach over 800rwhp

Looks hideous and makes weak gains. The kenne bell is way above those standards.

umm whipples 3.4l is gonna destroy KB.. but a twin kit thats being created now from horsepowerhouse.com ( 1 of the members from THP.. he broke off when he moved.. thp is still running tho) will destroy both!!

Search fatchile on some of the boards, he's running the 3.4 @18psi and is making less than what I'm making at 17psi. Just because it's .6L larger doesn't mean it is as efficient. Whipple has the 2.9 coming out, it will be interesting to see how those do compared to the KB2.8H.

per the road and track magazine I just read, its an Eaton blower and its the blower for the Shelby GT500 Super Snake.
