Guage pods

Has anyone tried these guage pods ? I like the looks of them in the picture but I've never seen a set in person. Steeda

Speed of Sound does make good stuff. There's a guy on another site that works for them and they have a pretty cool pod for the center of the dash coming out soon according to him. He posted a few pics and it looks pretty good, you might want to wait for that one.

The gauge pod produced by Speed of Sound uses a factory A-pillar plastic trim piece, and is modified to fit 2-3 gauge pods.

You really can't find a better looking A-pillar gauge pod.

The competition uses a very cheap plastic pod that attaches over the plastic trim piece, and many times needs to be painted to match.

Saleen carries a similar looking package for the center of the dash. Its a really nice looking piece but a little pricey.

Yeah, that is the speed of sound one. They come in 1, 2, and 3 gauge pillars. Took all of 5 minutes to install the new pillar.

The gauges took quite a bit longer.

Speed of Sound hands-down produces the highest quality gauge pods on the mraket. Easy to install and they match factory, perfect. From a thread I ran into on another forum, Speed of Sound is working on a center dash mounted alternative to the pillar pod. And if you have a shift light, their Raptor Claw light mount is of equal quality.

Excited to see the SOS dash pods. I installed their A-pillar yesterday and it was a spot on match to the rest of the interior.

Thats a nice looking setup. I think Saleen offers one very similar, I didn't like the idea of cutting up my dash to run the guage connections. I want electronic boost and fuel pressure so I can just run wire up the pillar.

You don't have to cut the dash on this one, the wires run down the back and into the vents of the car.
