O my, those sound sick. What kinda gains could you expect from those, and I also heard you have to "lock out" the VCT with BBR's cams is that true?

it still doesnt do justice.. lol.. i think emperorjordans are the best sounding and are better to get a more crisp sound...
NOT KNOCKING UR VID JUST MY THOUGHTS... and if u were to do cams might as well port out the heads to max the results.. |

i LOVE the sound of aftermarket cams but the fact that they lose torque turns me off

The BBR cams have both good horsepower and torque gains. They don't lose anything.... anywhere. |

I gained 33 RWHP and lost one pound of boost. Didn't loose any torgue with the supercharger. Its a real conservative tune also. It's my daily driver with 50 thousand miles and still running sweet. Here is a link.

With our stage 2 street/strip camshaft, BBR heads, BBR custom SCT tuning and basic bolt-ons we have seen an average of 375-385 rwhp. **All tuning done with 93 octane pump gas and Dyno'd on a dyno jet.** Blow-By Racing 2005-2008 Mustang GT Camshafts Stage I SOHC Great Street / Strip Performance cam with Noticable Idle. Recomend lower gears, Computer Programming Required, and 2300+ stall for automatics. RPM Range 1500-6000. 227/233 .050" duration, .480/.480 lift, 114 LSA. Recommend Replacing Valve Spring. Gross Lift Intake- .480, Exhaust- .480 Advertised Duration Intake- 270°, Exhaust- 276° Stage II SOHC Max Street / Strip Performance cam with Rough Idle. Needs lower gears(4.10-4.56 Recommended), Computer Programming Required, Exhaust Upgrades Recommended and 2700+ stall for automatics. RPM Range 2000-6500. 241/251 .050" duration, .492/.492 lift, 114 LSA. Highly Recommend Replacing Valve Spring. Gross Lift Intake- .492, Exhaust- .492 Advertised Duration Intake- 284°, Exhaust- 294° Features: * Add 30 to 40 more horsepower with equally impressive torque gains * Designed to work with Ford variable cam timing (VCT) system to optimize both low and high rpm performance * Camshafts are direct replacement components with no engine modifications required- (unless stated) * Significantly improve throttle responsiveness and designed to complement popular aftermarket performance upgrades * Provides the biggest hp & torque improvement, from idle to redline, than any other 289-302 cid engine that we have ever tested. |
