I'm at full boost from 2,900rpm to 7,000rpm with my turbo setup. Turbos today can actually hit in the same speed as a centri blower. First gear for me I feel no lag, especially with the 4.10 rear and after that it is game over.

I love twin screws too, I think they sound and perform great.

Looking at the dyno sheet that Jat linked to...the turbo at 8 lb doesn't hit 350 lb/ft of torque till almost 75 mph...I kinda wish it was in rpm to get a better comparison, but my twin screw is at 350 lb/ft at 2000 rpm. It's all in what kind of power you want to make.

Jat, when you stated that T/S powered cars only put you in your seat for a few seconds, dont you think that IMPLIES that they have no top end power? He was merely showing you that his power continues to climb all the way to redline. He never stated it pulled harder than a turbo up top but was merely proving you wrong about the fact that T/S do pull up top as well. The reason the turbo feels like it pulls harder is because it seems to lack what the T/S provides down low. My friend has a turbo'd Miata (faster than my car) and it feels like it pulls soo damn hard because it doesnt feel like anything down low. It is like all of a sudden it slams you back and thats why you get this impression that it pulls harder. No doubt turbos put out great numbers but quit knocking on everything else. You started this little debate with your comment about "try that with a T/S" or some other crap. If you dropped over 5 grand on something and some other member starts basically insulting your poweradder, wouldnt you get defensive? Im sure Grabber was a little pissed about the fact you are putting turbos way on top of T/S when he spent so much money on his, dont you think?

quite frankly this discussion always has 2 people going at it and turbo make power for where u tune them for..

another thing is that with the t/s i could get up out of my seat when after he floor it for a few seconds and was still on it so im right there.. that doesnt mean its not making power .. so before some1 comes at me with an attitude he should first understand what i am saying.. im not bashing on anything im stating facts if u take it the wrong way dont call me a dick..


and the fact he spent 5 grand on something and doesnt like my opinion well im sure hes old enough to realize people have opinions and theres plenty on here so dont get ur feelings hurt...

u didnt but grabber did and to be honest im pretty pissed off that im being attacked for throwing my view out there mean while i have been fed many from others since i was here in a rudely manner...

i have respect for any1 that gives it.. u give me it ur a stand up guy and have a wonderful car but when some1 starts twistin my words and says im twisting his and calls me names i will get pissed but w.e. discussion over..

do have 1 question for u how much was the clearbra i got a couple chips from some rocks and i want to protect my bumper b4 its destroyed and i need another new 1.
