Anyone Ever Bought From RPMoutlet.com?

I placed an order for gauges there and hadn't been billed on my card since last Thursday. So I called up customer service to see what was up and at first they tell me that they had no records of me purchasing anything. Then they tell me the gauges may not be carried anymore (Even though I was looking at the gauges being sold on the website at that moment ) Then they tell me that since my billing address (Virginia) and shipping address are different (Kentucky) the bank has to verify my shipping address is correct for anything over $500. So they say that they have to send me a fax and I have to sign the fax and send it back to them to make sure that I am the one using the card. Then they can process my order and ship it. What really gets me is that I have bought a sh*tload of stuff over 500 dollars and had it billed and shipped to Fort Knox, no prob.

Worst part is, I put in a search for rpmoutlet.com and saw all these they are a scam, they are slow, send the wrong parts, customer service sucks pages.

Anyone ever heard of this or had this prob??

tons of people have had problems with RPM outlet.. its ashamed that people don't do their research before placing an order with a company, especially an order over $500

They still owe me a set of spark plugs...paid for, but never delivered. Same shit, they have my money but no record of me buying anything, or so they say.

welcome to the "getting screwed by RPM Outlet" club. if I were you, I'd cancel the order right now! If you want gauges, I'll give you an online ebay performance shop vendor who sells every brand name autometer gauges at great prices. I ended up getting my mechanical boost gauge for $75 and my electric fuel pressure gauge for $149, these were the cobalt gauges, saved about $75!

heard a lot of bad things about RPM outlet. some good websites are Jegs, Brenspeed, Lethalperformance, Ninosport. all of these have great customer service, a lot of merchandise in stock, ship out quick and can track using fedex or ups.

i tried them once and did have problems. ordered the slp loudmouth axle backs. the day they were supposed to be delivered......nothing. they had already taken the money out of my account. called them they said i had to email and couldn't do anything for me over the phone. ended up they were on backorder and they just didn't think to let me know when i ordered. i even paid the extra for 2 day shipping. i canceled my order and it took about another week to get my money back on my card.

DON'T ORDER FROM THEM

I ordered from them last week no delivery yet, I am in Afghanistan at this time but I did have to e-mail them the following day and ask for an envoice of my order. If the exhaust I ordered doesnt get there soon I'll start bitching but heck I have like 4+ months left here so I have time. This may be the last time I order from them though with all the issue every one is having it feels like russian roulet.

Well, they billed my bank account and I checked earlier today to see if they had shipped it. 2 boxes on there. It shows UPS has picked up one box, but the other one is still up in the air I guess (Fingers crossed). I'll let you guys know how it turns out. Definitely going to stay away from them in the future just because of so many other problems I have heard.

I had problems with RPM as well.

I have had great customer service with Brenspeed and one that I never see anyone mention - Hotpart.com.

I ordered my Tokico D specs from them as they were the cheapest, shipped quickly and no issues. Had a service issue with one of my shocks, called Tokico (what a pain in the ....) and they told me I had to go to my distributor. I called Hot part and they were great. I dealt with Brian.

Tokico would not answer the phone for the longest time, then they were on back order and at that point he offered to give me a new one out of another box that he thought that he had in stock. He called me and let me know he didn't have that exact model and offered me a different one. I said I'd wait and one day a brand new d spec shock showed up.

Very happy with their service.

Stay away from RPM. I ordered my Pypes Violator Cat Back from them on August 31st and it is now 6 December and no exhaust. They have Shit for customer service. The only problem is no one believes the stories until they experience it for them selvs (Myself included) They have great prices that entices people in so until you have been screwed you just want to believe they are not going to suck, but in the end they do.
