For You Northern Boys... And Girls

Okay. I am storing my 07 gt for the first time tonight...I have the tank full with fuel stabilizer in. Arm and hammer in the back on the floor. Car cover on....now some questions.

My shop isint heated but has a concrete floor, should I remove the tires and put it on stands?

Should I pull the battery or leave it in?

Ans lastly, should I reflash the computer back to stock or leave my tune in it?

Thanks in advance for any tips guys. Am I missing anything???

Is it safe to leave the tune in it if I pull the battery?

If you don't plan on moving it at all, yes get the tires off the ground so they don't flat spot. I take mine out every 2 to 3 weeks and crawl it around the corner and put 5 bucks or so of fresh gas in it, so I don't life mine up. If you plan on leving it sit without running it, fill the tank, and put Stabil fuel stabilizer in it. As for the battery, I prefer to leave mine in the car and put an automatic trickle charger on it.

Well pro, I use mine to commute 400 km one way to work each week. I stopped doing that 3 weeks ago, and have been taking it out on the weekend when I'm home if it's nice out. But it won't be long now. We'll have snow anytime now. Oh joy. lol

I made the mistake last year of using it to get to work too late, and got caught in a little snow on my way home. Fortunately it was about 5 am when I rolled in to town, because it was slow going...they're not fun in snow. I repeat: not fun! lmao

I also don't have a garage, so I put up one of these for her:

Here's a shot of it out last winter on a nice day. Fortunately the gas station I use is only a few blocks away so I just crawl her over there early in the morning to put a few bucks in. That gives it a run, keeps the tires & brakes rolling, and keeps fresh gas in her. : )

Fortunately they don't use a lot of salt here. And I totally just turned this in to a random photo op. I really am a forum whore I guess. lol

btw I don't know if you're in to hockey, but the Battle of Alberta was a killer game last night. lol

Shit. The cop car eluded me. I shall avenge this oversight in the future! lol

Yeah....something like 30 shots between them in the 2nd period? Amazing game. Can't say the same for my Maple Laughs though.....
