07 Cobra Engine In My 07 GT ?

I have an option to get my hands on a 2007 snake 5.4 engine. The snake was in a wreck and the engine is good. What will it take to get that engine in my 2007 GT ? will it be $ to do ?

if you get the engine, transmission, trans crossmember, computer, and wiring harness, you shouldn't need anything except pull yours and install it

How much are you paying for the engine?

didn't know that about cam. gotta love the rich kids.

for 5g's i'd love to get that thing. in 07 the engine bay is different just so they could fit that 5.4 in there. as far as size goes you'll have no issues.

I don't think the GT tran can hold the power...

ok, maybe it can, but I don't think it'll fit, you'll have to see.

The automatic trans bellhousings on 4.6 and 5.4 Tritons are the same so I would think that interchange is an option!

I've heard the 07 GT tran is very strong...but that strong.... able to hook it up to 07 snake ? so many questions. Anyone with any good info, please reply. I HAVE A MANUAL 07. thanks, pals

Well, you see many people with 470RWHP on the stock trans... the snake engine only has 440RWHP stock.

Get the trans as well ... should fit just fine ... need the computer and get the harnesses just in case. Look at the motor mounts too ... I'm pretty sure they're different.

Tell them $5k to inlcude the trans ... might get lucky.
