Lowering The Car...

ok just pondering some ideas and ppl say that lowering your car has no real affect on performance and i was thinking how much ET do you think you shave from lowering your car 1-2" its gotta be something even if its very minuscule.

This is my plan for spring into summer though

Eibach Pro Kit
Steeda Lower control arms
Steeda Lower control relocation bracket
Steeda Upper Control Arm
Steeda Adjustable Pan Hard Par
Tokico D Spec Struts and Shocks
STEEDA 3 POINT FRAME RAIL / TORQUE BOX BRACE
Steeda Heavy Upper Duty Strut Mounts

Any of you guys can make a guess how much my ET will drop with all this.

lowering your car has affect on performance just not in the quartermile. its good for turning and high speeds. but as for the control arms and the other stuff your getting, i say about 3 tenths of a second shave.

Something to remember, lowering the car has an adverse affect on weight transfer. You want the car to squat and leave, with a lowered car a good portion of suspension travel for the squat is missing and often times costing time. If your seriously racing your car for the best times possible, just do the TRZ motorsports rear suspension package, get a good set of drag shocks and call it done.

I don't lead by example, my car is on the pavement. But this set up is tried and true to give great consitency in launches.
