Two Piece Driveshaft

Is it me or does that steady bearing make all kinds of racket..thumping banging etc....or is it just me.?

If you are talking about a clunking noise that is present when you shift, I have been told by Ford that it is normal. They actually have a bulletin out about it....one of those "We know there is a problem, but go fuck yourself we ain't doing shit about it" bulletins...like the one about the battery dying when the car sits for a week or two. That type of thing.

figures...i already went to war over the battery thing....they told me to make sure i power off the radio before shutting down the car to avoid the battery drain....\I just yarded out the battery

Yeah. I love my Mustang, and they are lucky I do. Or else I would be raising cain over a couple of things.

I wound up putting an automatic trickle charge on my battery so it doesn't friggin' die from sitting for 2 weeks.....

my old 89 winter beater with 350 thousand km on it, with a crap shit battery? It will sit for 2, 3 months, and fire right up. Whatever. lol

Luis: It is not abnormal for a new car to experience some 'growing pains'. Just because you have had a few issues doesn't make the car a piece of shit. I had a 2000 Focus I bought new, and during the first year of the cars existence, it had quite a few problems......front brakes kept warping rotors....fuel pump....car needed to be repainted....to name a few. It was almost to the point where I was going to pursue legal action, and I told my service manager so.

But after they repainted the car, when it was about 7 months old, it stopped breaking down. In fact, I drove the car for another 200,000 km without one breakdown.

So you never know. You can buy a top of the line Mercedes, and get a lemon. A lot of it is luck brother.
