Wrapped And Stitched Dash

I've been looking for a while now and I just don't seem to find anyone else with the wrapped and stitched dash option. I have yet to see someone else with it or even see one that is being sold. Is this really such a rare option that people get?

what do you have???

I have the platicky dash... which sucks cause nothing will stick to it...

That's the info I have on a quote from the dealer for the GT I had specced out.

For a leather wrapped dash, it's A) darn nice and B) darn cheap.

yes it is a factory option. i paid a few hundred extra for it. it wraps the dash with leather and stitches it where the curves are. the center console and door pulls are also stitched. it is the best option i have ever seen as far as interior appearance goes.

damn... kinda makes me mad that I got mine from the showroom floor instead of ordering... but I wasn't gonna wait 5 months for it...

i wouldn't recommend if you leave it out in the sun, could start to fade and then would look like crap

I've got it on Eleanor and she was not an order. I've seen plenty of them with it locally here.

the same as leather seats if you take care of it there shouldn't be any problem with cracking or fading. get some good protectant and use it.

Well some dealerships order them to themselves with those options sometimes.

Seeing the options, I don't think I would've gotten the stiched dash... non of the seat options matched well with the color of my car.

the option isn't just for the dash. you have to get the entire package to get the stitched dash.

I have never seen that dash before either. There were more than 40 GT's on the lot when I picked mine out and I looked at every one of them. I know I'd have wanted it if I knew about it. Did it come out in 07 or 08?
