My BMW had those Hid's...one burnt out and they cost $400 just for the freaking bulb.. Then there was the BMW factor... you can get alot of other stuff for the money that you will be able to see

Yeah, HID's are freaking expensive. The thing is, when they go, it's not just a bulb swap, they have to swap the entire assembly. But they last while. The HIDs in my z4 weren't perceptibly dimmer after three years than when it was new.
Oh, and for the record, (not that anyone cares, heh) I'm prolly gonna wind up with an '08 without the HIDs. But this thread sure taught me a lot all the same. |
