I had to drill a hole thru the firewall near the gas pedal...but BEWARE!!!!! The brake master cylinder is HUGE and you have to be VERY EXTREMELY careful. Triple-check where you drill so you don't drill through the brake master cylinder!!! I almost did! LOL!!

I've done several stereo installs and a couple autostarts in different cars, most of them had a hole. This one doesn't, not even on the passenger side. Sorry dood. I didn't want to drill into mine either, but such is life.

I pushed the wire through the one already there when I did my Raptor. Used an empty ballpoint pen tube to feed the wire through. Still a complete nightmare the other side.

Noooooo, don't drill...
There are large harness grommets on both sides of the car, you can see it from under the dash plain as day next to the pedals. Poke a hole through there and fish your wiring through to the engine bay. There is so much room in that grommet you can run 2 or 3 full harneses through there and have room left over. You have to pull the wheel and inner fender well to find the wire you push through and route up to the engine bay.. No hole drilling required.. |

No problem, by the way I like to put a dab of silicone in there when done to ensure not only a quite interior, but no moisture leak even though it's not near taking a direct hit from water.
