Gas Mileage Question (SC/gears Etc)

I currently own a 2003 svt focus and love it to death, but im more about the GO than the handling these days (an auto/x move on the streets corrected my driving...thankfully nobody was injured). I have always loved mustangs and my dream car is a black on black 04 termi hard top...BUT im in college and by the time I can afford to get one (in 1.5 years probably) the lowest milage one would probably have 50k+ and still be 22k...

I have now set my sites on the new body GT's after seeing so many nice modded ones. I for sure will be SCing it eventually. My question is...what kind of mileage (without getting into it which of course would be hard) could be obtained with a SC'd 05+? Could I run the lowest ratio stock gears (3.31?) with a supercharger (since most say dont run 4.10's with a blower) could this bump mileage? I have heard of N/A gt's getting 22 city and 27 highway which is sadly more than I get in my tuned svt N/A focus! (22 city/24ish highway...thanks to the high cruis 6th gear... 3500 rpm @ 80mph)

Any comments on this matter? I know gas will probably stay the same or go up, so mileage would be important, but getting my dream SC'd GT is too!

I have a procharged 06 with 3:55, my milage isnt great but not terrible by anymeans. I dont spend much time on the highway in this car, but in the city I get about 16mpg. That of coarse is just everyday driving and the occasional slip of my foot onto the gas pedal.

I have the Vortech HO 462hp kit with stock tune and the stock 3.55 2005 rear end gears. Just commuting round, it returns 24mpg on the computer. At the moment, it's averaging about 19.2 as that includes a bit of blatting. I was on the motorway one day and zeroed the computer and driving like the throttle was my friend, I got 46mpg but that soon dropped into the 30s then the 20's.

One thing I will say is that when I've used the car really hard on the road with plenty of 3rd gear work, it still got 17-19mpg.
