Question

Hurst Shifter

Obviously I've noticed how many of you guys like the Hurst shifter. I'm starting to get interested, but before I drop 300 bucks I was hoping some of you could tell me what the benefits are, if there are any for a daily driver...

Well, shorter throws, and less chance of missing third, and a much firmer feel than the mushy stock, I have a MGW in mine and I love it, my stang is my DD also.

Now... Don't get a Hurst, get a MGW, its build quality is a million times better and it gives you throw adjustability from 15% all the way to 50% reduction.

I have had the tri-ax and the MGW.

the MGW is the better of the 2 shifters.

I've never heard of MGW... What's the differences between the two?

I have done the accidental 2nd into 1st instead of 3rd thing once, and I blushed so bad I fogged the windows...

the quality.

the MGW has far more adjustability than ANY other shifter on the market.
it also has the shortest throw.

I reseached shifters for 2 months....and I went for the MGW. Top quality with best reduction in throw.

I'm assuming that the MGW is aimed more for professionals then? I wasn't even aware that shifters needed adjusting to be honest...

no... it just lets you adjust between 10 different short % I have mine set @ 6 turns, which is about 35% reduction.
