LT's with turn downs??


im getting the Kooks LT's in the spring and i was wondering if i would benefit making my own turndowns or dumps that i can open and close at any given time?? Any HP gains from that at all??

06, when I got my kooks I left em open and went for a ride to disgust my neighbors. I noticed a huge decrease in top end power even with the blower pushin things along.

Not sure a retune in the open state would have helped, but it is known that these modular motors like a little back pressure to produce good power. Would be a bit annoying to have to swap tunes for a dump though.

Maybe dump after the o/r X or high flo catted X, to gain a little more pressure before dumping?

Yeah i was thinking the same thing about the backpressure...it was just a thought i had i prolly won't do it cuz that shit is gonna be loud as it is. hahah
