Yeah, I was munching popcorn and reading that catfi-err... "quality education forum" recently. Things like that are why I love devoted fan sites like this, the dirty laundry about poor quality gets aired.
 I just thought it looked interesting for the price, especially with how many people have been talking abot building up their motors. |

Granatelli = garbage and crap!
i wouldn't even buy that car. actually I would, and rip off that damn granatelli turbo to save the vehicle. then I'd slap a better turbo or a supercharger on that and resell it. dealing with him, I'll never buy another damn product from him ever again, even if it gives me 1000HP, never. he's a liar.... Granatelli has the worse rep. on this board and many others; hence he is a member on this board, and lurks upon us. Right JR!!!

That was what I was thinking - it's got about 7k miles on it and is listed for $35k. Figure you could hawk the turbo on ebay, put something much better on and still be ahead of the bank - assuming the mechanicals are in order. Oh, I guess it's got a GMS radiator too. But I don't have that kinda play money and need a daily driver, unfortunately. Would this be the type of woman my friends warned me about? Fast and cheap but you don't know what she's hiding that'll bite down the road?  I still couldn't believe the responses Granatelli's forum troll was giving here - certainly wasn't winning any PR points. Emay - nice sig! |
