This is for you twin screw guys.

So I talked to a local speed shop and he said to install a whipple that I would need to get a fuel pump and a fuel pump driver module from a GT 500. I know the kits already come with a GT 500 fuel pump but what about the module. Is it necessary. I looked it up on LethalPerformance and it shows a wiring harness.

I believe it comes with it also if you get the Whipple HO. Kit. Make sure you get a wide band AFM and a Boost guage<<<

Couldn't tell ya on that one. Talk to Maverick or Gunny. They both have thr Whipple. Or you could give Whipple a call.

i thought the whipple kit came with everything, just install n go.....atleast thats what i understood from their site.....or was it kenne bells site.

Stock fuel pump with my Whipple. Now, when I get the HO kit it will get the GT500 pump.

It does come with everything atleast the HO kit does but not sure about the Fuel Pump Driver Module

it has to use the new fpdm, our car originally came with module to run single pump and you need the new module to turn on high pressure pump for 2 pump setup

Other than the tuner kits, all HO kits are 100% complete for fuel management. Whipple supplies everything and the GT 500 fuel pumps etc. . The Whipple's are by far the best supplied packages in my opinion. KB's supply a BAP.

The kit comes with the extra FPDM and wiring harness to make everything work. The only thing you have to do is run a power cable to the engine compartment. Easy install (of course you have to drop in the fuel pump itself and run the wires to the trunk, but not too bad). This was the first time I ever takled something like this and it went well. I did have a Hazmat incident though. MAKE SURE that when you screw the locking lever back on to the newly installed fuel pump that you get the ring FULL SEATED under all the locks on the top of the fuel tank. You'll see what I mean when you do it.

it comes with everything you need. your shop needs to learn a few things.

it comes with the GT500 fuel pump, the 2 drive modules, harness, blower, intercooler, tune, plugs, etc. etc. etc. everything.

Maybe the shop guy was thinking the tuner kit which doesn't come with the hareness and pumps.
