Dyno numbers

Just got back from the dyno. As some of you know i was conducting a little test to see what i would gain with a brenspeed tune over my frpp tune and to see what i gained with underdrive pulleys

as you can see in my sig i started with 296 and 316.83. The first dyno sheet below was with everything the same as my sig but with the steeda underdrive pulleys. gained 7hp 1tq. Started the gains at about 4300rpm.

The second dyno sheet is with the everything in my sig including the udp's and the brenspeed 93 octane tune. Gained another 7 hp up top,, the gains start at about 5400rpm. Didnt really lose any low end power with the bresnpeed tune which i was worried about. You can feel a difference in the bresnpeed tune as well. So in that sense i was wrong about the frpp tune, though i still feel its a good tune. I mean for the most part you would see no power gain on a day to day basis, its all up top. So the brenspeed tune is better but i personally still wouldnt call the ford tune junk.

I ended up with 310hp and almost 319tq. A 14 hp gain with both the tune and udp's.

also the guy said that im a little lean at 5000+ rpms with the brenspeed tune and that he feels while its probably not going to hurt anything he would call them and tell them to add so gas up there. What do you guys think?

yea ill probably leave it. its not like i run at that rpm that much. Their tune is a lot leaner than the ford tune. Im happy. thats what a 350hp and 360tq car. Im happy with it.

being a little lean may be why you have a couple more hp up top. if they richen it up you will lose a few hp up top

Cool comparison. I'd just stick with that tune, not gonna hurt anything.
