Intake Opinion

I bought my 06 GT used and it had a JLT intake and a canned tune on it. I am considering either a local dyno tune, Brenspeed, or BamaChips tune to squeeze a little more out of my combo.

My question is this... Do you think the C&L intake is a better intake and worth upgrading over my JLT? I figure I can pick one up and sell mine pretty reasonably, and would rather do that before I pay to put get a new tune for my car. Is the C&L that much better to even consider it, or should I just stick w/ what I already have?

Thanks for the input.

The JLT and C+L are about the same. No need to sell one for the other. I would go with a Bamachips tune or Brenspeed, they provide the best tunes. No need to dyno unless you are just trying to see how much power you got right now.

Just keep the JLT. Go with a Bamachips or Brenspeed tune. No need to have the car dyno tuned now.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking there probably was very little performance difference between the two. I have read in quite a few places that the overall quality of the C&L is better than the JLT. If I was starting from scratch I would probably go that way.

If i could do it again i would've got the JLT, cheaper and just as good. Could've saved that extra money for more mods.
