Dropping mine off tonight.

5-7 days turn-around, pearl white UNDER two passes of clear-coat.

I'm ashamed for doing pretty work when I still want a big brake kit and a built block.

Oh well she's gonna look sweet in a week!

Actually - I just got rid of my stripes this past weekend. They were badly sun damaged. It took 5 hours of pulling, scraping, Goo-gone,rinsing and rewaxing.

Made some mods from the original specs.
These are taken in the garage still so the pearl is hard to see.
Finally get to go pick it up tonight!

Guys:

I have a 2005 V6 Mustang, order the strips from Ford with the 3M adheasive. In the word, they suck....I have had 4 sets put on at the Dealer, under warranty.

The failure mechanism is high psi car washes. My wife keeps taking the Vert to those places and they rip the decals off, my first one laste about a week, the next two a little longer, yep, until the wife forgot not to use the High PSI washer.

So if you love detailing by hand or use a detailer shop you are ok.

Clearcoat over the vynil stripes...my girl's dad builds show cars and swears by it...they won't come off in the car wash, and you don't have to worry about picking that shitty wax crust off the edges of the stickers when you detail it...pain in the ass...

I had my 07 striped and it cost 4500.00.The whole car was taken apart,sanded,striped,and cleared.
The job is perfect and worth the money.

Well, it took long enough (had to buy a house first) but I dropped of the Stang for stripes today. Painting the Lemans 10" from tip to tip ... going to go around the tag area similar to what L33T did.

Should have it back on Friday, will post pics that night.

I sent the guy doing it a lot of body work over the last 8 months, so he's doing the stripes with clear and some touchup work on the body for $900.

Be on the look out ...

Well I got my 07 in blue and added the stripes.
I prefer paint because they last a lot longer.
