Your slow throttle response is in what sense... that it doesn't accelerate till about 1/2" into the gas pedal, or stomp it and responds slowly?

thers a mechanical mod in the forums as well....it adjusts the contact points for the throttle...UDP's made mine feel more responsive as well....probably just in my head is all.

try this:
1. turn key to on but dont start engine, and wait until most lights go off
2. slowly depress gas pedal all the way down, should take 5 seconds, then take foot off slowly again 5 seconds.
3. turn key off
4. start engine and test throttle response
5. if no better, repeat 1-4

I did notice a slight better response, especially between gears when shifting.

yeah i dont know much but mine was doing that and when i turned it off it fixed it so i would say that is what it is because it cuts the power if your tires start to slip

A tune and possibly pulleys may help out some.

Its better to adjust with a tune. I can set it up to be unusably twitchy, linear, or mellow on the 1st half, etc.

i've lost a race to a 99 camaro v6 just because we were rolling already and my car has terrible throttle response unless it's from a dead stop...

... it actually works... I was overreving when doing heel toes... or maybe it was my new shoes... either way... I drifted my car for the first time in dry pavement
